This project envisions a film adaptation of Virginia Woolf's 1927 novel To The Lighthouse. Set between 1909 and 1919, my designs were inspired by autochrome photography, Edwardian fashion, and the visual language of the Bloomsbury Group and Charleston House. Making for Lily Briscoe, I hand painted a dress and jacket, alongside construction accurate Edwardian undergarments.
