I designed a surreal and playful production of Offenbach's opera The Tales of Hoffmann. For the character of Giulietta, a venetian courtesan, I made a 1910s inspired silk gown adorned with a bead crochet snake. The dress was trimmed with velvet, striped chiffon sleeves, and beaded straps, worn with beaded headpiece and matching heels.
