Imagining a biopic television series about silent film star Mary Pickford, I recreated a costume worn by the actress in the 1917 film The Little American. Through conduction research into the original garments and historic making techniques, I accurately constructed a jacket, skirt, and blouse, matching fabric and finish to archive photos. Alongside the the costume, I illustrated seven outfits from Pickford's illustrious career.
